§ 52. Mr. J. Hyndasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether the agreement of 19th October, 1948, between the authorities of the combined zone of Germany and the Belgian and Dutch authorities, concerning reciprocal use of waterways and ports, has been extended or replaced by a more formal and permanent organisation.
§ Mr. Ernest DaviesThe agreement of October, 1948, has been replaced so far as the Netherlands are concerned by the transport portion of the Netherlands-German Trade Agreement which was initialled last month. Discussions are now taking place between Belgium and the German Federal Government, which may lead to a similar agreement.
