Lieut.-Commander Hutchisonasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Admiralty if he will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the numbers of recruits for the Navy obtained respectively from England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland for each of the years 1946, 1947 and 1948; and the number of applicants from each country rejected in each of these years on account of their low standard of education.
