Mr. Skinnard

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how long Mr. Chege Kibachia has been detained by the Kenya Government; and when it is proposed that he should be freed.

Mr. Kibachia has been restricted to an area in the Rift Valley Province since September, 1947. His case is reviewed at intervals of six months by the Executive Council.
