§ Mr. M. Macphersonasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury how many students in Scottish Universities obtained bachelors' degrees in science, excluding technological science, in the sessions 1937–38, 1938–39, 1945–46, 1946–47 and 1947–48 respectively; and how many students in the sessions 1945–46, 1946–47 and 1947–48 respectively, began courses leading to such degrees.
