§ 69. Colonel Gomme-Duncanasked the Minister of Labour if he is now in a position to make a statement on the effect on the hotel industry in Scotland of orders issued under the Catering Wages Act, 1943, particularly in the light of the Knox Report.
§ Mr. Ness EdwardsNo. It is for the wages board concerned to propose any changes in the order. The board for licensed residential establishments has done so and my right hon. Friend has made a new order to give effect to their proposals as from 1st June.
