Mr. J. P. L. Thomasasked the Postmaster-General whether he is now able to state when a telephone exchange will be established in the village of Longtown, Herefordshire.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingA site has now been obtained for the telephone exchange at Longtown, and erection of the building and installation of equipment will proceed as soon as possible. I hope the exchange will be in service within 12 months.
