§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Food if, in view of the fact that cauliflowers are costing from 5s. 4½d. to 9s. 6d. per crate for transport alone, all of which goes to foreigners, and that there is an adequate supply of cauliflowers in this country, he will stop the importation of cauliflowers in the interests of home growers.
