asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what is the composition of the Education Board in Sierra Leone, and, in particular, how many representatives from the protectorate are included.

Mr. Creech Jones

I understand that the composition of the Board is under revision and am asking the Governor for the latest information. I will communicate with my hon. Friend.

69. Mr. Skinnard

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many native administrations in Sierra Leone levy a cess especially for education; and whether they are given every encouragement to do so by the Government of Sierra Leone.
