§ Dr. SummerskillAbout 8,000 tons of food left these ports undischarged, a part of which has now returned and been unloaded, and vessels carrying 50,000 tons were delayed, but I do not anticipate that any additional cost will fall on the Ministry of Food nor do we anticipate any significant losses through deterioration.
