asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any money is granted, either by the Foreign Office or the British Council, to maintain cultural centres in London of countries having associations with the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, as for instance Hungary, Bulgaria; and to what extent grants paid to refugees from these countries during the war to enable them to establish centres in the United Kingdom have now been wound up
