§ Mr. JayUnder existing trade arrangements His Majesty's Government agreed to allocate 750,000 tons of coal to Spain over the twelve months to 31st March, 1949, and as a result of negotiations which took place in December it is hoped to continue shipments at this rate for the second quarter of 1949. Payment will164W be made in sterling on terms to be agreed between the commercial interests concerned.
