§ 72. Mr. Robinsonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether in order to assist in the staggering of holidays, he will consider altering the date of the August Bank Holiday.
§ Mr. Glenvil HallA recommendation of the Standing Committee on the Staggering of Holidays is already under consideration. A proposal to this effect has been referred to the National Joint Advisory Council, but in view of the many interests involved, further discussions and consultation will be necessary before a decision is taken.
