asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) if he will consider relief from Income Tax to all depositors in Post Office Savings Banks up to £500;

(2) if he will consider relief from Income Tax of all savings in Trustee Savings Banks up to £500.

I cannot entertain either of these proposals.

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer when statistical information will be made available as regards Income Tax paid in Scotland.
