§ Mr. IsaacsI have been asked to reply. The interim index of retail prices, on the basis of June, 1947=100, was 104 at 13th January and 109 at 14th December, 1948. Details of the increases in the various items are given in the Ministry of Labour Gazette for January, 1949.
