§ 54. Mr. Skinnardasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether national formulary preparations, compounded or otherwise, obtained for National Health Service purposes, are exempt from Purchase Tax in the same way as British pharmacopoeial preparations and those in the Pharmaceutical Codex.
