§ 87. Mr. Osborneasked the Minister of Health why he refuses the Market Rasen Urban District Council permission to purchase the local water company as they have requested in letters dated 14th April, 1948, 27th September, 1948, and 13th January, 1949; and why no reply has been sent to the last letter from the Council.
§ Mr. BevanConsent has not been refused. I understand that the company have offered to sell their undertaking to194W the Caistor Rural District Council, who are considering the offer. The letter to which the hon. Member refers was acknowledged but I am not yet in a position to make any further reply.
