asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will use his good offices with the Greek Government to enable Mr. R. P. Bartlett to obtain a visa to go to Athens to attend the trial of his son-in-law, Mr. Toni Ambatielios.

Although His Majesty's Government has no legal status in this matter, we had urged upon the Greek Government the desirability of facilitating the visit of Mr. Bartlett.
