Mr. Pagetasked the Secretary of State for War what application he has received from the German counsel appointed to defend Field Marshals von Rundstedt and von Manstein and Generaloberst Strauss for British counsel to be appointed to assist the defence upon matters involving British law; and what action he proposes to take upon this request.
§ Mr. ShinwellAn application has been received from the German counsel requesting that they may be given the assistance of British counsel. In reply they have been informed that there is no objection to the employment of British counsel, if they can arrange it.
