asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department (1) if he will introduce legislation to make compulsory the paying in and out of all pool moneys through the medium of the Post Office, and to ensure that all orders should be made payable to the particular pool in which the investment is made together with the number of the pool week;

(2) if he will introduce legislation to restrict the percentage of pool receipts taken by the promoters to cover expenses.

Both these matters require legislation and my right hon. Friend cannot anticipate the announcement which the Prime Minister has stated that he would make shortly.
