§ Dr. SummerskillEleven refrigerated ships are now being used to store meat. Meat is not normally carried in chartered vessels but at liner conference rates. The rates charged for the charter of these store ships are not comparable with the very much higher rates which would be charged for the charter of similar vessels for trading overseas.
