§ 136. Mr. W. J. Brownasked the Minister of National Insurance what arrangements have been made in the Rugby constituency for securing that the resources of the Assistance Board will be available to persons in need at any time during the day or night.
§ Mr. SteeleThere is a reception centre in Rugby which provides accommodation for persons without a settled way of living; and the area officer at Leamington, which covers the hon. Member's constituency, is provided with an official telephone at his home to enable the police or the local authority to get in touch with him if exceptionally a case of emergency outside office hours appears to require attention by the board.
