§ Mr. BarnesThe estimated cost of the road improvements on the Ashford—Folkestone trunk road near Sandling is £44,752, which includes £1,500 for the temporary bridge and £8,000 for the permanent bridge. About £17,000 has been spent to date and so far as can be seen at present the original estimate will not be exceeded.
