Mrs. Middletonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer in how many cases during the year ended 31st October, 1949, has the War Damage Commission taken into account the records of local authorities in either checking war damage claims or in assessing the amount of compensation that should be paid.
§ Mr. Glenvil Hall:The use of local authority records as a check on information already in the Commission's possession is a routine operation in checking claims and no statistical record is kept.
