§ 27. Mr. Blackburnasked the Secretary of State for Air what decision has been reached concerning the degree of priority to be granted to the establishment of an effective fighter force for the protection of Britain.
§ Mr. A. HendersonIt is not practicable, within the limits of a Parliamentary answer, to describe the priorities given to different parts of the Royal Air Force, but I think my statements in the Debate on the Air Estimates afford sufficient evidence of the importance His Majesty's Government attach to building up the strength of the fighter force for the protection of this country.
