§ Mr. BarnesThe Society inform me that in the financial year 1947–48 the salaries and wages of their staff totalled £57,100, including £7,632 for staff employed on activities other than road safety. Receipts from the sale of road safety propaganda material and from the hire of exhibitions amounted to £64,736.
