§ Mr. KeyThe object of time and motion studies undertaken by my Department has been to discover the best methods of carrying out certain operations, particularly connected with the erection of non-traditional houses and the use of new types of plant. They are not sufficiently comprehensive to yield statistical data about the general productivity of building trades operatives.
