§ Dr. SummerskillThe number of officers in my Department at 15th September, 1948, who have been issued with warrants under Regulation 55AA (2) of the Defence (General) Regulations, 1939, authorising them to enter and carry out an inspection of any food undertaking is 1,989; 982 of them are enforcement officers, and the rest inspectors of food production and storage.
