HC Deb 21 September 1948 vol 456 c55W
70. Sir W. Wakefield

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will review the customs and excise regulations on packing for shipment to the U.S.A. of horticultural products from the United Kingdom in view of the loss of dollars due to inability to export because of impracticable requirements for packing.

Mr. Glenvil Hall

No such regulations are imposed by the Customs and Excise in this country. If the hon. Member will let me have fuller particulars, I will have inquiries made.
