asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether His Majesty's Government have considered the possibility of negotiating a Treaty with the Benelux countries on the lines of the Anglo-U.S. Treaty for the avoidance of double Income Tax; and if he is aware that such action would be warmly welcomed by the nationals of all the countries concerned.

Yes, negotiations for a double taxation Convention with the Netherlands have already been completed and it is expected that the Convention will be signed very shortly. Negotiations for a similar Convention with Belgium are under way.
