WilsonImports of coal from Poland in the period October, 1947, to September, 1948, amounted to 117,000 tons valued at £587,000; the different qualities imported are not separately recorded in the trade returns. No figures are available for the same period in 1937 and 1938, but in the year 1937 we imported from Poland 6,500 tons of coal £3,300. Imports in 1938 were nil.
