§ Mr. MayhewI assume that the hon. Member is referring to recent Argentine legislation affecting the Buenos Aires Transport Corporation. Representations on this subject have already been made to the Argentine Government by His Majesty's Ambassador at Buenos Aires and my right hon. Friend also took advantage of the visit to this country of the Argentine Foreign Minister in order to emphasise the importance attached by His Majesty's Government to the payment of adequate compensation to the British shareholders of the Corporation.
