125WAs an interim measure, local authorities may apply to the regional petroleum officers for small block allowances of coupons, to be used in 'such a way as to ensure that there is no interference with the work of the council.
§ Mr. Prescottasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he is aware of the dissatisfaction caused among members of local authorities by virtue of the fact that in the granting of supplementary petrol allocations to enable them to carry out their public duties the standard ration is deducted; and whether he will consider revising this practice.
§ Sir W. Smithersasked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he will make a statement on the result of his recent discussions with local authorities as to granting extra petrol allowances to members and officials.
