§ Mr. H. WilsonFrom October, 1947, to September, 1948, imports from Poland amounted to £6.8 million, the principal commodities being bacon, eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables, coal, timber and textile materials and manufactures. Foodstuffs accounted for 62 per cent. of the total value and consisted, in addition to the items already stated, of salmon, poultry and pork.
