§ Mr. N. Macphersonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the cost of the survey made with a view to publishing "Agricultural Survey of Scotland," published in 1946; what was the cost of its publication; how many copies were printed; and how many were sold.
§ Mr. WoodburnThe field work of the Survey was carried out by the technical staffs of the agricultural executive committees as part of their wartime duties, and it is not therefore possible to give an estimate of the cost of collecting the information. The cost of publication was £450; 1,000 copies were printed and 660 copies have been sold.
