asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a full list of the articles included in the term haberdashery for the purpose of the Purchase Tax.

The scope of the term "Haberdashery" for Purchase Tax purposes is clearly indicated in a notice issued by the Commissioners of Customs and Excise. I am sending the hon. Member a copy.
