asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury what is the annual value of the land annuities transferred for revenue to the Northern Ireland Government under the Government of Ireland Act, 1920; the amount so collected in the last financial year; and if this sum is taken into account when fixing the Imperial Contribution from Northern Ireland.

I am circulating in the OFFICIAL REPORT, a statement of the figures asked for in the first two parts of the Question. The answer to the last part is "Yes."
Following is the statement:
The annual value at 31st March, 1948, of land annuities transferred to the Northern Ireland Government was £653,409 15s. 2d. The amount actually due to the Northern Ireland Exchequer for the year 1947–48 was £653,477 9s. 4d., the difference being due to normal terminations of annuities during the year. The amount collected during the year was £654,737 15s. 2d., including arrears amounting to £1,260 5s. 10d.
