§ 89. Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that road repairs in Euston Road between Churchway and Charlton Street were not half completed when the estimated period of seven weeks for the whole of the work expired on 15th March; and whether, in view of the fact that additional vehicle operation and wasted man hours resulting from the diversion of traffic cost the country at least £500 per day, he will take steps to secure the maximum reduction in the time required for completion of the work.
