§ 89. Mr. Dumpletonasked the Minister of Health if he will amend Regulation 29, in respect of mental health officers under the National Health Service Act, so as to give the same treatment to all mental health officers with regard to their previous service, in view of the unfair discrimination which the regulation makes between staffs of the mental hospital service and certified institution service.
§ Mr. BevanNo. I am, however considering whether it will be possible to amend the basis as regards the officers of mental deficiency institutions so as to enable them to get a just measure of benefit in respect of their future service.
