Mr. Digbyasked the Minister of Fuel and Power what steps he is taking to make available the poles and other materials required by the Wessex Electricity Company for the extension of a supply of electricity to Cheselbourne, Dorset, where a supply is urgently needed in the interests of food production.
§ Mr. GaitskellThere is a general shortage of this kind of equipment which the Departments concerned are doing everything they can to overcome. Poles for the Cheselbourne scheme will be made available as and when delivery of the other materials is completed.
