§ Mr. BelcherArticles of non-utility furniture made from materials which are not subject to allocation and which are not suitable for use on utility furniture are widely offered for sale to the general public. There are adequate supplies of utility upholstered furniture available for members of the public who qualify for units. It is not always possible, however, to ensure immediate delivery of articles covered in particular utility cloths such as moquette which, from time to time, are scarce. Alternative coverings are readily152W available. The maximum retail selling prices of utility, suites covered in moquette range from £42 1s. 9d. to £52 8s. 9d.
