§ Mr. Wilfred PalingReceipts in 1946–47 from overseas air mail correspondence, which have to cover Post Office handling150W costs estimated at £991,000, amounted to £6,097,000. Payments for air-carriage to the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Air Ministry, and British Air Corporations direct totalled £4,318,000, and to foreign postal administrations £668,000.
