Mr. Creech JonesThe names of the three prisoners are George Ross, Godfrey Allen Stevenson and Arthur Edward Ake-burst. They were convicted of carrying firearms, ammunition and explosives contrary to Regulation 58 (c) of the Palestine Defence (Emergency) Regulations, 1945, and of being in possession of an armoured car and Bren guns, the property of the Government of Palestine, contrary to Regulation 143 (1) (d).
