§ 48. Mr. Marplesasked the Minister of Food whether he will consider replacing the cooking compound by pure lard; and making a slight increase in this ration.
§ Mr. StracheyWe cannot get enough lard to replace compound cooking fat entirely. But when the Argentine supplies arrive, which will be shortly, we shall be able to replace some of it. I am afraid there is no prospect at present of an increase in the cooking fat ration.
