§ Mr. Hollisasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that air mail from this country to British Guiana takes at least seven days to reach its destination as opposed to four days for the opposite journey; and whether the outward time can be made as rapid as the inward.
§ Mr. Wilfred PalingUnder normal operating, air mails to British Guiana, which are despatched twice weekly, should reach Georgetown three to five days after despatch from this country. Earlier in the year, owing to circumstances outside my control, there were, unfortunately, serious delays on this service, but I am pleased to say the position is now much better and I hope there will be no further difficulties.
