§ Mr. T. WilliamsInstitutions offering degree courses in veterinary science have agreed to reserve not less than 80 per cent. of places for the academic year beginning in October, 1948, for people who served in the Armed Forces during the war or, in certain circumstances, in the mines or in agriculture; but the selection of candidates is of course entirely at their discretion.
