§ Mr. EdeYes. The Probation Training Board is now able to consider applications from persons over the age of 40, and to offer training to those applicants whom they regard as suitable. Candidates who satisfactorily complete the course of training arranged by the Board will be eligible for appointment as full-time probation officers, even though they are over 40.
