§ Mr. Piratinasked the Minister of National Insurance what part of the 6s. 2d. contribution paid by he self-employed 40W man goes to the Unemployment Fund.
§ Mr. J. GriffithsNone. The self-employed contributor is not insured against unemployment and no part of the 6s. 2d. contribution covers that risk. The Unemployment Fund has been absorbed into the National Insurance (Reserve) Fund and all contributions under the National Insurance Act, 1946, fall to be paid into a single National Insurance Fund.
