§ Mr. Bartlettasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that tobacco tokens issued to pensioners date from the Monday following the date of lodgment of the application with the postmaster, with the result that, if pension order books are issued with a delay, 171W tobacco tokens are not issued retrospectively, although the pension itself is so issued; and if he will amend this regulation to remove this hardship to the pensioner.
