§ Mr. Wilfred PalingYes. As I explained in my reply on 18th December, 1947, to the hon. Member for Westbury (Mr. Grimston) we are providing additional underground cables within the limits of our restricted resources. Production of subscribers' cables for the Post Office is being reduced in order to permit of increased exports.
