§ 46. Mr. Dodds-Parkerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will exempt from payment of Income Tax all individuals from East Africa who served in the British Forces during the war on a United Kingdom war establishment, under the same ruling as he has exempted those in government employment who so joined the Forces on a United Kingdom war establishment.
§ Sir S. CrippsI regret that I cannot see my way to extend the concession under which in certain cases the Service pay of persons from the Dominions or Colonies serving in Forces paid from United Kingdom funds was taxed by reference to Dominion or Colonial Income Tax rates.
